What is a pilot study? Why do a pilot study? When to carry out a pilot study?
A pilot, or feasibility study, is a small experiment designed to test logistics and gather information prior to a larger study, in order to improve the latter’s quality and efficiency.

11 Eleven 1998 – 2009, 88 cities tour is our large sudy. OpticalPerspectiveArchitecture wll be working at each city as a small experiment, gathering information prior to our large study, our intended circuit.

A pilot study can reveal deficiencies in the design of a proposed experiment or procedure and these can then be addressed before time and resources are expended on large scale studies.

As the design of our intended circuit is a massive project, good research strategy requires careful planning and a pilot study will often be a part of this strategy.

A pilot study is normally small in comparison with the main experiment and therefore provide only limited but useful information on the sources and magnitude of variation of response measures.

It is unlikely, that a pilot study alone can provide adequate data to include in a well designed experiment. A systematic review is an appropriate source of information on variability. The pilot study, however, provide vital information on the process of proposed procedures.

A pilot study may address a number of issues, it is also useful to check and verify that procedures are comprehensible or that the reliability and validity of results are relevant;

A pilot study also is suggested to assess whether the level of intervention is appropriate, to identify the effect of the strategy adopted and the cause of the procedure and the effectiveness of actions to reduce them .

A pilot study has diferent formats and sizes, our 88 cities 11 Eleven Tour Pilot Study Report is to be produced as a result of the tour activities as to be our last activity of the project our post-production work.
